ICT(Information and Communication technology) has proven it value on being beneficialin educational field. and the effort of Malaysian goverment in investmentof ICT is not a waste. but in Malaysian education, ICT is not widely used. this is because it required a lot of cost in the developmemt of ICT.
There are a lot of advantages of using ICT in Malaysia. It can develop learning skill such as critical thinking, analysis of information, effective of communicationand problem solving. To ensure that the objective of ICT in education are achived, the Eeducation Ministry is commited in utilizing five strategies. the first is preparation of sufficient and up-to-date tested ICT infrastructure and equipment to all educational institution and the second strategy is the roll-out of ICT curriculum and assesment and the emphasis of integration of ICT in teaching and learning. the third is, the upgrading of ICT knowledge and skills for student and teachers. While the fourth is, the increased use of ICT in educational management. and the last is, upgrading of all maintenance and management of ICT equipment in all educational institutions
I hope, status of educational system in malaysia will be the best, and ICT can be widely used for make sure the vision 2020 can be achieved.
